Returns

You can return any purchase you made online at hpshopping.ca within 30 calendar days (10 calendar days for clearance item products) of your invoice date. Any software must be unopened to qualify.

To return your purchase:

  1. Call us at 1-877-231-4351 to get a return authorization number (weekdays only, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. eastern time). This number, also called an RMA number, is required for all returns and exchanges.
  2. We’ll provide you with instructions on how to return your purchase. You need to return the item within 10 calendar days of receiving your RMA number.
  3. To prepare your package for shipping, you need to:
    • replace the product in its original packaging (product must be in “as new” condition)
    • include all items originally in the product box, including all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.

HP reserves the right to inspect all returns. A restocking fee will be charged on all returned items with missing boxes or packaging, and returned printers with installed toner or inkjet cartridges. Non-defective returns may be charged a 15% restocking fee.

If you return a product outside this process, your credit may be delayed pending proof of delivery to our warehouse. Please follow the above directions or you will assume risk of loss and payment of return freight.

Refunds

We will refund the original product price paid, plus tax (if applicable). Original shipping and handling charges won’t be refunded. We can only issue refunds to the same credit card that was used in your original purchase.

If you financed your purchase, refunds will not include any interest due on the loan or any of the non-refundable amounts described above, and you will remain responsible for the performance of your financing agreement.

If you’re returning parts of an HP promotional offer or bundle, we will subtract the full price of the item(s) being returned from the total price paid and, if you paid more than such a resulting amount, HP will refund the over-payment to you.
