product features

easy to use

The user-friendly HP 30s now lets you enter operators and data in the same order that you’d use if you were solving the problem on paper.

Do your fingers sometimes feel too big for calculator keys? We can help—the keys on the 30s are larger, softer-edged, and spaced just a little farther apart on the keypad to help you avoid time-consuming mistakes in keying in data.

interchangeable faceplates
Another day, another color. Interchangeable faceplates let you change the look of your HP 30s. It’s not just about superior quality and value: we know you appreciate style too, so we include two extra face plates in different colors with each calculator.

two-line display
Sometimes you need to see more than just one line of data. The 30s has a large two-line display that gives you the big picture. It even maintains a convenient editable command line history.

constant mode
The 30s features an enhanced constant mode that permits appending of any combination of numbers, variables, functions and operators.

conversions
Any calculator can convert a fraction to a decimal, the HP 30s can also convert a decimal to a fraction, a not-too-common feature we think you’ll find very useful. It also handles a variety of conversions for both metric and imperial units

This terrific feature helps you solve quadratic or simultaneous linear equations quickly, without all the tedious calculations.
