Simplify printing

HP's printers are designed to make printing simpler. All elements of printer design and their impact on your overall business are considered in HP printer design. For example, as the following images show, the HP Color LaserJet 2550 requires less than half of the workspace that the Dell 3100cn does. You can use the valuable workspace you save with the HP printer for other business functions.
printer dimensions
HP's integrated cartridges also reduce the complexity of printing, as opposed to non-integrated cartridges found on Dell printers.
•  Dell's M5200 and W5300 printers use a separate primary charge roller.
•  The Dell 1700 printer's separate toner cartridge and drum increases complexity, which can be messy and may compromise print quality.
•  The Dell 3000cn and 3100cn users may experience more frustration replacing toner cartridges.
A smaller footprint and integrated cartridges are just two ways that HP printers are simple to use. Others include:
•  HP printers are robust and have paper trays that are easy to load and adjust for different media sizes.
•  With HP Color LaserJet printers, there are no tradeoffs between print quality and speed.
•  HP workgroup printers are designed with user-friendly control panels.
•  HP has satisfied customers for over 20 years.

Reduce maintenance

HP's printers are designed to require less maintenance and provide a better end-user experience.
•  Fewer replaceable parts cut costs. As the graph at right shows, the HP Color LaserJet 4650 has only 5 parts besides toner to replace in the first 3 years, compared to the Dell 5100cn, which requires 23 parts to replace.
•  Intelligent design ensures minimal maintenance. When comparing printers, be sure to consider the ease of replacing fusers and adding memory. With HP, it's simple. With the Dell M5200 and W5300, the design of these printers may complicate replacing fusers and adding memory.
•  Enough memory ensures printing success in best print quality mode. With Dell's 3000cn, 3100cn, and 5100cn printers, you may need more memory to print in best print quality mode to avoid memory errors. Since HP's default mode is best print quality mode, you typically don't need to add memory.
•  Readily available supplies. When estimating usage and replacement, HP toner cartridges are conveniently available all around town. Dell replacement toner must be ordered from Dell and could arrive the next day or later.
